These terms govern your use of Legend Card Maker ("the app"), published by Hugo Software. By installing or using the app you agree to them.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app.
Your content
The cards you make and the photos you add are yours. They are stored on your device and we never receive them, so we claim no rights over them and take no responsibility for their safekeeping.
Back up anything you care about. Because your cards live only on your device, they are lost if you uninstall the app, clear the app's data, or lose or reset the device. Export a card once you are happy with it.
Acceptable use
Use photos of yourself, or of people who have agreed to appear on a card you make. Do not use the app to create cards that impersonate someone, harass anyone, or that you are not entitled to make. You are solely responsible for the images you add and the cards you publish.
The templates, frames, crests, flags and typography in the app are our own designs. The app is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any sports league, club, federation, game publisher or trading-card company, and it contains no third-party team names, badges or logos. If you add such material to a card yourself, that is your responsibility, and sharing it may infringe someone else's rights.
Legend Premium subscription
The app is free to download and includes a free tier: a 720 × 960 export with a watermark, and the basic templates. Legend Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks higher-resolution export (up to 3840 × 5120), removes the watermark, unlocks automatic background removal and unlocks all premium templates.
- Price: $3.00 per week, or the equivalent in your local currency as shown in Google Play before you confirm.
- Free trial: new subscribers get 3 days free. If you cancel before the trial ends you are not charged.
- Renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that period ends.
- Billing: payment is charged to your Google Play account. All payment processing is done by Google Play; we never see your payment details.
- Cancelling: cancel at any time in Google Play > Subscriptions. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period already paid for.
- Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
Prices may change. If a price changes, Google Play will notify you and ask for your consent before charging the new price.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own refund policy, not by us. If you believe you were charged in error, contact Google Play support; you may also write to us at [email protected] and we will help where we can.
Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue features of the app. We try to avoid removing features you rely on, but the app is provided as it is at any given time.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. It is a design tool for making novelty cards; the ratings and statistics on a card are whatever you type into it and carry no meaning beyond that.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hugo Software is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of cards, photos or data stored on your device. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Where you deal with us as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend the licence if you breach these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the app evolves; the current version is always available at this address.
