Privacy Policy

Legend Card Maker ("the app") is a sports card designer for Android, published by Hugo Software. You add a photo and some stats, the app draws a collectible-style card, and you export it as an image. We collect no personal data.

Your cards and photos stay on your device

Everything you make — the name you type, the number, position, country, stat values and template you choose, and any photo you add — is stored only on your device, in the app's own local storage. Legend has no account system, no sign-up and no server of its own. We never receive, upload, back up, or look at your photos or your cards.

The card image itself is drawn on your device, by the app. Nothing is rendered on a server.

Your card leaves your device only when you deliberately export it and pass it to another app through Android's share sheet. In that case you choose the destination, and that destination's own privacy policy applies.

Photos

You pick a photo through the Android system file picker, which is why the app asks for no storage or gallery permission — the picker hands over only the one file you selected. The photo is resized on your device and kept in the app's private storage. It is never uploaded.

Background removal

Premium subscribers can have the app cut the background out of a photo automatically. This runs entirely on your device. The first time you use it, the app downloads the machine-learning model files (about 40 MB) from a public content delivery network. Your photo is not part of that request — the download goes one way, the model comes to you, and the cut-out happens locally.

No advertising, no analytics

Legend Card Maker contains no advertising SDK of any kind. No advertising ID is read or processed. It also contains no third-party analytics and no crash-reporting SDK. There is no tracking and no profiling.

Network activity

The app makes only three kinds of outbound request:

1. A fetch of a small configuration file at launch (feature flags and a fallback price label). It contains no personal data, and no data about you is sent with it.
2. Google Play Billing traffic, handled by Google Play services on your device, to look up the price and check your subscription status.
3. The one-time background-removal model download described above, for Premium subscribers who use that feature.

As with any web request, the servers involved may record the requesting IP address in ordinary server logs. We do not link that to you, because we have nothing to link it to.

Subscriptions and payment

Legend Premium is sold as an auto-renewing weekly subscription through Google Play, following a 3-day free trial. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We never receive or store your payment details, card number or billing address. Your subscription status is read from Google Play on your device; we keep no purchase records on any server.

Children

Legend Card Maker is suitable for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. It has no chat, no social feed and no way for users to see each other's cards.

Deleting your data

Because your data lives only on your device, you are in full control of it: delete individual cards inside the app on the My Cards screen, or uninstall the app to remove everything at once. We hold no copy anywhere, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf. See the data removal page for details.

Note that uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel in Google Play > Subscriptions.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR give you rights of access, correction, deletion and portability over personal data held about you. Because we hold no personal data about you at all, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or erase — your data is already entirely in your own hands.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The current version is always available at this address.
